Realistic Lighting Overhaul (RLO) is the fourth iteration of the popular lighting mod, Realistic Lighting without Post-Processing.

I'll give monitor calibration a shot, but I don't have an issue with any other games and didn't have a problem with skyrim before modding it either.

When I moved nothing(60 fps) and a woman with Hdt and SMP Physics run in my screen, I dropped to 45-55fps. SKYRIM SUPER-VISION-ENB View File SUPER-VISION-ENB Hello and welcome! Load order is important. Obsidian as you mention later or other weather mods should work just fine, some that impact interior lighting might help in supplementing your Interior lighting setup as well.Īs an addition the description of LUX mentions audio mods would be incompatible without patches but honestly these should be mostly fine aside from stuff like SoS (Sounds of Skyrim). The IC patch now prevents Embry from clipping with fire brazier at the Riverwood bridge. The mod does alter some exterior cells (in dungeons or where it makes sense) but it should be totally fine to run with an exterior lighting mod and in fact I highly recommend doing so! Any of these should work fine, you could try Tamriel Master Lights, ELFX exterior fixes or another depending on what you are going for and the compatibility you need (if you are running area edits that alter light sources or not). You could probably add in something safe like Haze Light Torches if you’d like to go with this.ĮDIT: Just a follow up, there is some pop in with haze and Lux and it does brighten up dungeons so it might not be worth adding haze to this setup if these are things you'd like to avoid. Hi friend if you look above I’m supplementing this lighting mod with the WS modules loaded above it and inferno fire effects light up in the meshes and textures section of my LO. If you want realism I don’t think this can be beat. After using Lux for a while though I can confidently say it adds a huge amount of realism to the game and while there are some choices I still prefer about the ELFX combo overall I don’t miss it after switching, this mod is just that good. You could probably also toss in Haze Light Torches, though I haven’t tried this mod out with this combo yet.ĮDIT: Just a follow up, there is some pop in with haze and Lux and it does brighten up dungeons so it might not be worth adding Haze to this setup if these are things you'd like to avoid.īeing a huge fan of ELFX + ELE + Patch + Enhancer, I was on the fence as well even after seeing some of the gorgeous shots Clofas was sharing of how it looked. If you are talking about the interior module then yes you should only run this for interior lighting with the WS modules mod loaded above (if you want this). The low ratings occurred immediately after upload (before anyone could have tried the mod out) which means someone either fat fingered or was maliciously downvoting.
